Full Flow Oil Filtration
Many motorists question whether superior filtration is worth the additional price. It is important to consider that 60 to 80 percent of component wear is directly contributed to the presence of abrasive particles within the lubricant. Superior filtration on can eliminate or significantly reduce the concentration of these materials. The end result is reduced wear, longer equipment life, less down time and lower cost of operation.
Full-flow filters typically remove particles 20 microns and larger. The full-flow filter removes contaminant partials that cause immediate damage without restricting the oil flow… hence the term full-flow filtration.
Oil filters remove contaminants such as dirt, soot and wear metals that enter the engine through the combustion process and particles generated within the engine that could cause significant damage. Should the oil become contaminated, its ability to perform its intended tasks can be greatly impaired. Filtration can help ensure the oil will continually be able to perform its necessary tasks. Contaminated oil can reduce engine life 60 to 80 percent.
AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters are made with a synthetic media which has a greater efficiency, which is not typical of standard cellulose filters.
The AMSOIL Synthetic filter media provide more capacity than non-synthetic media, therefore AMSOIL Ea Filters remain in service up to 15,000 miles or 25,000 miles (24,000 kms and up to 40,000 kms), depending on the application.
