1. Product Warranties – Lubricants (Synthetic Oil)
This warranty covers AMSOIL lubricants, ensuring they are free of defective materials, design, and workmanship.
Key Coverage Summary:
Warrants that the lubricants are fit for use according to the written recommendations of AMSOIL.
If a lubricant is defective, AMSOIL will replace the defective lubricant and, at its option and cost, repair or replace components damaged by the defective lubricant.
What is required for a claim? You must provide a six (6) ounce representative oil sample taken from the failed equipment.

2. Product Warranty – Filters (Oil, Air, etc.)
This warranty covers each AMSOIL brand filter, ensuring it is free from defects in material and workmanship when properly installed and used.
Key Coverage Summary:
Covers AMSOIL brand filters when properly installed and used for the period of service life recommended by AMSOIL or the engine manufacturer.
It does not cover non-AMSOIL brand filters or filters used beyond the recommended service life.
If a filter is defective, AMSOIL will replace the defective filter or issue credit, and may repair or replace components to the extent damage was solely attributable to the defect.
What is required for a claim? AMSOIL requires the return of the filter in its original, undamaged condition.

3. Product Warranty – Bypass Filter Systems
This warranty covers all parts and components (except filters) of the AMSOIL Bypass Filter System when properly installed and maintained.
Key Coverage Summary:
Specific components have guaranteed periods: the filter mount assembly and machined/casted components are guaranteed for 5 years from the original purchase date.
Hoses, fittings, gaskets, o-rings, and fasteners are guaranteed for 3 years.
The system must be properly maintained, including annual inspections of fittings and hoses.
What is required for a claim? The Bypass System and filter(s) are required to be returned for inspection.
